• 2010-JAN-21: A patch has been released that installs additional files for the JCMT::Tau Perl module, required for various SCUBA and SCUBA-2 functionality. Patches are available for:

  • 32-bit Intel OS X (9.1KB, md5sum: 834c647bd7075f7d1ac7497f398f2304)

  • 64-bit Intel OS X (9.2KB, md5sum: 99bfc344b705db6a43f79acc8c51af5d)

  Copy the patch into the $STARLINK_DIR/Perl/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.10.1 directory and untar it. This will create the necessary files.

• 2010-FEB-03: A patch has been release that fixes the CCDPACK xreduce command. Patches are available for:

  • 32-bit Linux (219KB, md5sum: 67b51a2d3834db284b7c8248a3715b61)

  • 64-bit Linux (230KB, md5sum: 2e9c136b08df85dc70fd0c2277b106ab)

  • 64-bit OS X Leopard (79KB, md5sum: d74c9a21ad1fd443f9dafb1cc34dd07d)

  Untar these files in $STARLINK_DIR. The special Snow Leopard Starlink release includes this patch.

• 2010-FEB-09: The OSX Leopard 64-bit build was made with some non-standard compiler libraries in the path which makes it impossible to run up GAIA. A tar ball of those libraries is available:

  • 64-bit OS X Leopard

  Untar these into /usr/local/lib.

• 2010-FEB-09: The OSX Leopard 32-bit build was made with some non-standard libraries in /opt/local which makes it impossible to run up GAIA. A tar ball of these libraries is available:

  • 32-bit OS X Leopard

  Untar these into /opt/local/ or use MacPorts to install the iconv package.
